It's a spark — a mission, a program, an idea worth funding. But a single grant doesn't sustain an organization on its own. Our work is building what comes next: a funding strategy with deep roots, strong enough to withstand a bad year, a lost grant, or a shifting funding landscape.
After 19 years in the grant and nonprofit sector, founder Marcia Wynn built Ember to Oak to help mission-driven organizations move from that first spark to something as sturdy and lasting as an oak.
